What is a "73C" aircraft? Is this a Boeing model? If not, which? Thanks.

According to this site (http://www.flugzeuginfo.net/table_accodes_iata_en.php), it is a Boeing 737-300 with winglets (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_737)

I spent about an hour yesterday on the various plane-spotter sites, trying to find it.

I spent 10 seconds on Google to get the first link.

Because I'd basically said that it was a Boeing model. All I had to go on was my itinerary which states that the aircraft is a "73C". At first I thought that it was one of those crop dusters.

I still have not found a specific reference and photo to a 737-73C, though

Why's the wing all bent and broken like that? That can't be good.:)

I think those are "winglets".

Dramatically reduce turbulence and drag around the wings, and thereby significantly improve fuel efficiency.

God!, I love the Discovery channel.
